Digiscoping

What is Digiscoping?
Digiscoping or phonescoping is a way taking a digital image or video footage using your scope and smartphone or digital camera.

Why do I digiscope?

• For enjoyment, I'm a birder first but enjoy digiscoping and landscape photography
  
• To take record shots i.e. rarities
  
• For counting flocks of birds i.e. geese flying over
  
• For reading the details of colour ring (bands) in the field
  
• Something to do when it’s quiet while birding on my local patch!
